My two cents on Purchase Power Parity and India

The reason why I am writing this post is that in India, there are so many companies offering services on different platforms and one can easily get into a job with a salary of 15 lakhs p.a.

If purchasing power parity were to be compared, then it is way better to live in India and with all the services offered like swiggy, dunzo, affordable househelp, etc., living in India, if one is getting paid more than 15lakhs p.a compared to living in the western nations (Europe, US, etc) with a salary equivalent to 15 lakhs p.a(adjusted according to PPP), is just a no brainer.

Living in Mumbai is also cheaper than other cities like Delhi or Bengaluru. If you have an average salary then you can live on rent of 10k – 15k per month depending on your locality and also depending on whether you want to buy or rent an apartment at that rate. Having said that, Bangalore or Delhi/ NCR region have sort of grown in the recent times to earn the reputation of star-up hubs. This makes the city population heavily towards aspiring young minds and that has an impact on how a city conducts itself.

I believe that this will help people who are willing to start their own businesses but they cannot afford to do so because they have low salaries or low interest rates on their loans or even both at once! Also if someone has saved some money, the worth of that can really be utilized the best in India since services vs spending factor is massive comparatively.
